echtpaar, ook uit Nederland (zelfs uit onze toenmalige woonplaats!).<br ><\/p>\n<div style=\"float:left;margin-right:10px\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" onderling samen zijn ging niet alleen over koetjes en kalfjes, maar ook over de dingen van God.<\/p>\n<p>De \u2018mannelijke helft\u2019 van het echtpaar vertelde mij dat hij sinds een zekere tijd regelmatig met zijn vrouw de zondagse samenkomsten (erediensten) van een kerk bijwoonde. Alleen, hele lappen preek ontgingen hem. Hij begreep niet waar de predikant het over had\u2026<br \/>\nDe basiszaken waarop het gestoeld was, waren bij hem niet bekend, c.q. niet aanwezig.<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-spacer\" style=\"height:10px\"><\/div>\n<h2>Ook voor kerkelijk meelevenden<\/h2>\n<p>Ik weet niet of deze persoon een kerkelijke achtergrond had, maar ook veel mensen die van jongs af (meelevend) kerkelijk betrokken zijn, merken dat fundamentele kennis van geloofszaken in hun leven ontbreekt, laat staan dat het kan worden doorleefd en er mee aan de slag kan worden gegaan in hun (dagelijks) bestaan.<\/p>\n<p>Anderen ervaren dat er belangrijke hiaten in hun geloofskennis zitten, waardoor hun christenleven niet goed uit de verf komt.<\/p>\n<div style=\"float:right\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.meindertsmaservie.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/hersens.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"109\" height=\"100\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-27166\" \/><\/div>\n<p>Weer anderen kunnen gewoon de behoefte hebben aan een geestelijke \u2018APK-keuring\u2019, of noem het een \u2018doorsmeerbeurt\u2019, omdat domweg bepaalde wezenlijke geloofszaken door de tand des tijds aan corrosie onderhevig zijn geweest.<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-spacer\" style=\"height:10px\"><\/div>\n<h2>Fundamenten<\/h2>\n<p>Hoe ook, ik werd er temeer bij bepaald, hoe belangrijk het is, de fundamenten van het christelijk geloof \u2013 voor sommigen voor het eerst, voor anderen opnieuw \u2013 op een geordende manier uiteen te zetten.
